Kenlie's Story...
Kenlie is a beautiful hound...we are guessing her breed mix. Someone (we think an amateur) probably shaped her ears. She''s a very solid built dog, but isn''t very tall. Some would consider her a large medium sized dog, or SMALL large dog. Once you get her focus she knows sit & lie down. She wants to jump on you in greeting, but quickly responds once this is discouraged. Beautiful eyes. Kenlie has tested positive for heartworms. This is a treatable parasite infection. We are open every day but Sunday, 10 to 4:45. We thank you for considering a shelter adoption. Adoption fee is $60 which includes spaying/neutering & initial vaccinations. To adopt Kenlie please call (936) 633-0218 to get an adoption application so we can contact the foster and set up a time for you to meet this sweet girl!! For the month of July the adoption fee for this dog is $30!

Act quickly to adopt Kenlie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenlie, a Lufkin Catahoula Leopard Dog/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Boxer for sale in Lufkin, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Boxer dog from a breeder in Lufkin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lufkin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lufkin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Boxer breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lufkin paves the way for another one to be saved.
