Champ's Story...
Hi my name is Champ and I am the handsomest little Silky Terrier / Yorkie on the planet . . . and yes I am looking for my forever home. They think I am roughly 4 years old, weigh about 13.8 lbs and I am the most adorable and fun-loving little guy that you would ever want to meet. I was rescued by Paws 4 Humanity Inc from the Jax ACPS as I was brought in as a stray by one of the nice ACPS Officers as I was found running around scared on Old Kings Road. When Paws 4 Humanity Inc came to pick me up that was the first day of the rest of my new life.

I am crate trained, house trained and obedience trained and even know some tricks. I like to toss my toys in the air and then catch them in mid-air before they hit the ground. I love my foster family who spends a lot of one on one time with me as I do not like to share the attention with other dogs. I prefer to be in a one dog household as I really eat up all of the attention that I can get, as I didn't get enough attention with my original family. I love to play with my toys ( I like rope and tug toys and also squeaky toys) and am a very energetic guy that loves to go on walks as it gives me quality time with my foster mom. At the same time I am the perfect lap dog and love to be sitting with my humans when they are in their kick back mode watching tv or working on the computer. I am quite the happy-go-lucky guy and I promise you I am very well behaved. I don't know why my original family never came to look for me.

If you would like to meet yours truly and see for yourself what a fun-loving, energetic and happy-go-lucky little guy that I really am with a lot of love to give, please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot an email request to paws4humanity@att.net to request an adoption application which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to meet me and discover for yourself just what a handsome, adorable and cutie pie little stud muffin that I really am. My loving personality and handsome good looks will undoubtedly pull at your heartsrings where you can't help but want to take me home forever! See you soon! Love and kisses - Champ

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Orange Park, or seeking a Silky Terrier/Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Orange Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orange Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orange Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
