Addie(ADOPTED!)'s Story...
ADDIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
Addie is an adorable, loving, gentle and affectionate puppy looking for a home! Addie was rescued from a pound in southern IL with her four siblings. Their mother was a purebred Chocolate Lab and is appears that their father may have been another Newfoundland. These pups were born towards the end of September. They are just about 12 weeks old and are already 30+ pounds. We are expecting them to be 100+ pounds when fully grown. Addie and her littermates are currently in a foster home in Chicago, but they would love to find their forever homes soon. They do well with other dogs and will be fabulous family companions!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Addie(ADOPTED!), a Chicago Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
