My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Martin is an 11lb Lasapoo (Lhasa apso and Poodle mix) he is very young no more that 2 years old and was found as a stray on the streets and we were called as he sat in a shelter here in MA waiting and no one came to get him. A volunteer called us as Martins hair on his legs was so matted when shaved off it came off in one coat and the fur on his under carriage was all stuck together. He was covered in fleas and had a double ear infection! Now look at him....Martin allowed us to bathe him and Sue groomed him and spent so much time brushing out his fur so he did not have to get shaved to the skin and Martin allowed every minute of it.
What a wonderful boy he is, so sweet, gentle, and laid back. This is one very grateful little boy who understands life is better now and he wants more of this and is happy to please you. Martin follows any act of kindness towards him with a kiss to you, on the cheek on your hand or where ever his little tongue can touch, he kisses for any caress, treat or conversation aimed at him. He looks right into your eyes searching to see if you are going to be kind or cruel to him but trusts and comes easily towrd you.
Martin is going to be neutered next week and then will be ready for adoption. We think he would love a home with savvy gentle children older than 8 years old. He is a quiet, laid back easy going, happy boy. I am learning potty training as I was not neutered but should have learnt by the time I get adopted. This is one very lucky boy and one very lucky family who will adopt him.

Requirements for adoption

Please be around for company, I have been neglected and want to be close to my human now

I love walks and snuggling so please walk me and then we can sit together after snuggling, my foster Mom holds me a LOT and I LOVE it

I would be good with children over 8 years old and you must have a fenced in yard if children in the home

Poodles need to go to a professional groomer every 6-8 weeks at a cost of about $50, so please factor that into the costs associated with dog ownership.
