Benny's Story...
Serendipity led Benny and another dog, Eli, to our rescue. We thought that one of our long-timers, Petey, our family escape artist, had gone on another jaunt around the neighborhood. As we were in search of him, we saw two dogs running and panting down a nearby street showing signs of stress and confusion. Both were scared and it took three of us almost and hour and a half to catch them. After 24 hours in rescue they calmed down, opened up and enjoyed the love and attention showered on them. We are sure they were dumped in our neighborhood for many reasons we would expand on with a potential adopter. We had them neutered and vaccinated. Benny is doing fabulous on a leash; he loves walks. He is a very calm dog and would work well in a household that works full time or is retired and just enjoys being with their pet. Email for any additional info. There is no adoption fee to the RIGHT home. He is crate trained. Would recommend no kids under 8/9....

About Coppercloud Ranch Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Coppercloud Pet Rescue is a outgoing-based rescue (in other words, we do not take found animals or owner turn-ins....you must contact Maricopa County Animal Care and Control for this) that removes animals from the county shelters that are scheduled to be put to death and finds compatible, loving homes. Our secondary mission is to make pet owners truly aware of what the statistics are when they dump their pets on the county. The 2 county shelters alone are euthanizing HUNDREDS of cats and dogs EVERY week! Every single one of these animals once belonged to a human who no longer cared about their well-being. It is not the county's problem. It is a community problem. Please spay and neuter your pets. PLEASE. Email us if you need a low cost clinic. We are thrilled to offer this information.

Come Meet Our Pets...

call for an appt. all calls will be returned within 24 hours. Emails are usually answered faster, within a half a day or less.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee helps cover our medical costs. A fee for a dog can range from "no cost to the right home" to 200.00 for small size puppies when we have them. Every dog is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered or spayed. There is a one page adoption contract, and we expect our adopters to understand that you are planning on adopting this animal for the entire life of the pet.
