Henri's Story...
(ADOPTION PENDING) Henri was left at the county shelter by his owner who decided to go traveling and found Henri too much of an inconvenience to keep. He is only 10 months old. He LOVES other dogs and his energy is high, so I would definitely recommend a playmate for him. I don't think a one dog household would suit his needs, and think that is part of the reason he was given up. He loves his people, but he needs the companionship and playtime with another dog. He is larger than a Yorkie but smaller than a Schnauzer. He is funny, friendly, happy and all puppy right now.
His adoption fee is 185.00 and he can go home after he is neutered next week.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Henri, a Scottsdale Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
