Gracie's Story...
When you think about the world today, it can sure feel like a lot is missing. It isn’t like it was when I was a pup. Sure you could say “Gracie you are just old fashioned.” Well that may be true, but what is wrong with chivalry? What is wrong with a young man opening a door for a young woman? What is wrong with showing someone you care in person as opposed to a computer message? If you ask Gracie, I say nothing….I think people need to remember the good old days when life was a little simpler and people were a little kinder. Well I said my piece, and I probably showed my age… but I am not concerned. I just want to spread some of the love and joy of the old days. So if you got a nice gentle little family that wouldn’t mind this old girl curled up on your floor waiting for belly rubs, I wouldn’t mind obliging you. 9 years old-25lbs. My adoption fee is $80 and includes; spay, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Portland Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
