Becky's Girls's Story...
Becky's pups were born approximately 10/4 in the shelter they were rescued from and will be ready for their new loving homes at the end of November. There are 9 pups total, 5 boys and 4 girls...and as you can see, they are adorable! Mom looks to be a black lab mix who weighs about 50lbs or so and dad is unknown. At six weeks the pups range from about 5-8lbs or so. They are super sweet and we can't wait to find them new homes...homes that understand the patience and commitment it takes to raise a puppy as a family member. Their adoption fee is $250 and includes dhpp boosters thru 4mos of age, bordetella, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip. They will be available to be seen in mid November and approved homes can pick them up at 8weeks of age.

Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group.

Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.

We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Becky's Girls, a Sacramento Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
