I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Monty is our charming senior and slight “Special Needs” dog who anyone would be lucky to have in their home. He is a 9 lb, 12 or 13 yr old Shih Tzu mix. We rescued him from a high kill city shelter where he sat for almost 2 months. When we took him in he was in poor condition. He desperately needed dental work a vet check-up, along with seeing a good “hair dresser”. All of these have been done. From the vet check-up we did learn that he has very beginning kidney problems and a medium grade heart murmur. He has medication that he must take for both problems and a special diet for his kidneys. Since having a good dental and being on his diet and meds he is like a new dog!! He now interacts with his environment, has spurts of running around in a playful manner, adores going for walks and has a great appetite. He has a new vigor, zest and a new love of life. One of the things that his foster mom loves about him is that he is not a barker. He's a lap dog and wants nothing more then a nice warm lap to snuggle in. Updated on all his shots, microchipped and neutered. Won't you open up your home and your heart to this sweet senior?
