Tony's Story...
Tony is a 3 year old Biewer Yorkie. He is good with older kids, but not small children. He will bond and become very attached to a person. He will be a wonderful companion, but needs an owner who understands terriers and how to not let them take over. Please email for more information, or for an application to adopt.

About Our Rescue Group...
I have been involved with volunteering with animals for30 years, I started volunteering for People For Animals in Hillside at their spay/neuter clinic, stayed there and eventually sat on their Board of Directors for ten years. I love animals, I rescued my first dog at 18. Laura has always had a love for all animals as well, she has a special touch with scared/frightened dogs that helps them move forward. She has a calm pack of dogs in her home and helps each dog/pup that she rescues. We love matching families with each dog, we cry over it. We love helping people and animals. It's a win win for us.

Our Adoption Process...
We have an application for everyone to fill out, emails, we respond to daily, we love phone conversations to get a better feel for the people interested in adopting one of our rescues. The application is reviewed and vet references are followed up on. Once we establish a good potential home, we ask that they come to meet the dog/pup in one of our homes. Adoption donation is $250.00 and that includes medical of altering, distemper shot, and rabies, if it's a dog over one, heartworm testing.

We Serve the Following Cities, Towns, and/or Counties...
Rescue Connection is a small rescue group. We take in animals into our home and asses thier medical needs and likes and dislikes. We are not picky what breed we take. We rescue from shelters, private homes and do alot of networking with other rescues to find permanent loving homes. We spay/neuter our rescues before adoption unless they are too young. We use People For Animals spay/neuter clinic in Hillside, NJ for altering/shots, they will alter at age 4 months. We try to housebreak all dogs/puppies while we have them in our care. We have pets of our own, so usually they all get along with dogs, cats and children.
