Miles's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Miles's Story...
Miles is a purebred Maltese. The vet estimates that he is 4 years old (estimated D.O.B. 11-22-08), and he weighs 8.3 pounds. He is a very playful, active little boy and likes to be close to people. We don’t know too much about his housetraining just yet, but he does sleep in a crate. Miles is up to date on his immunizations, heartworm negative and on preventative. He will be neutered and have his teeth cleaned on Tuesday, November 27, after which he will be ready for his new home. Miles will not be placed in a home with children under the age of 12 or with a dog weighing more than 20 pounds. His adoption donation is $200, and he is being fostered in Birmingham, Alabama. Miles’s best bud is Priscilla, who came into rescue with him. For anyone wishing to adopt them both, each adoption donation will be reduced by $25, for a total of $50 discount. We do approve out of state adoptions, but the adopter must be willing to drive to the foster home to “fetch” the new family member. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, the first step is to submit an APPLICATION.

We do not place any dog in a home with "invisible" or underground fencing.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miles, a Mooy Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Mooy, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Mooy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mooy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mooy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mooy paves the way for another one to be saved.
