Mother dog Delilah was found in a parking lot, injured and in need of care. Soon, it became apparent that she was pregnant…and seven puppies, four males and three females, followed. The kind family that rescued mom Delilah soon found themselves assisting her in the births of Tyco, Han Solo, Blue, Henry, Sister, Mouse, and Sissy. This is Sister’s story.
As the alpha female of her litter, Sister is a dog who knows what she wants and how to get it! She wants and needs a forever home—preferably with you! Sister gets along and plays well with all of her litter mates, showing a dominant ‘leader’ quality. Having a ‘twin’ in the litter has given Sister a special companion. Sister and Sissy definitely stick together!
Sister enjoys learning, and loves the Nutri Cal she receives as an incentive. She learned to use a puppy pad when she was only three weeks old, and knows the commands come and wait. Sister is a an all-around great dog with a long list of attributes, including friendly, likes to please, enthusiastic… and continuing long enough to let you know she is a keeper!
If adopted soon, Sister will be accustomed to your family’s life and routines before the busy holiday season. If your home is sort of an empty nest in regard to dogs, Sister’s sister Sissy would also be a great addition to your family since the two dogs are so close. Having Sister—and maybe even her sister—join you and your family before the beginning of the holiday season would be lovely. Why don’t you work on making it happen?
