Tundra's Story...
Tundra, along with three others, was rescued from a situation where there were just too many dogs and none of them were spayed/neutered. Tundra is a 5 month old Bassett Hound/Dachshund. She has come out of her shell and is very affectionate. She is super playful and loves playing with toys and other dogs too! Tundra is 100% crate-trained. After she plays her heart out, she wants in your lap to cuddle and relax. She is the best of both worlds! She loves being outside when the weather is nice, but mostly enjoys being with you. If you can offer this girl a great home, please contact us. She would make an amazing addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tundra, a Alliance Basset Hound/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Border Collie for sale in Alliance, or seeking a Basset Hound/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Alliance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alliance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alliance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Border Collie breeders who help with Basset Hound/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alliance paves the way for another one to be saved.
