My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Endie (pronounced N-Dee) was just another mostly doxie in a sea of mixes in a high kill, overcrowded shelter. We really had no room for her, but our transporter championed her cause and begged us to save her. Since our transporter runs up and down California at a moment’s notice savings dogs on their last days at a shelter, we agreed to take Endie as a favor.

It turns out our transporter really knows what she is talking about. Endie is a delightful dog and could fit in a variety of homes. She appears to have a little something else in her. If we had to guess we’d say she is dachshund with a dash of beagle. Whatever her background, it has left her with the cutest face!

Endie is living with a gang of dogs and does well with them all. She has learned how to walk on a leash which was a new experience for her. She is now very excited when the leashes come out.
Endie really likes people but is a little shy at first as she is not used to people being nice to her. She is warming up fast though as she watches the other foster dogs swarm visitors. She has begun joining in the “pet me, pet me’ gang lined up at the gate.

Endie was quite thin when she arrived and had a dry brittle coat. We are working on fattening her up and getting her coat shiny and pretty.

Endie is crate trained, micro chipped, spayed and current on her vaccinations.

If you are interested in Endie, please fill out an adoption application and email Lindy at linla@comcast.net.

The tax deductible donation for Endie is $225
