My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

18 mo old Ghost was a stray picked up by a high kill shelter. Because he was so scared, he was not going to be made available for adoption. Since our transporter was heading to the shelter, we decided to add him in.

We had been told ahead of time that he was a white dachshund but we figured he was most likely an English cream. Then we met him - this dog is frosty white.

His coloring is absolutely stunning with his white fur and his coal black eyes and nose. We don't know if his color is a genetic mutation or if he has something like American Eskimo in him or what. The end result is a dog that every single person he meets goes gaga over him. He's so popular and attention grabbing that you need to be prepared to be stopped frequently as people ask about him.

Ghost is not only gorgeous, he is also a sweet, friendly dog. He was a little shut down at first but the other foster dogs soon fixed that. Having happy dogs around really relaxed him and allowed him to trust his foster mom.

Ghost is a young dog so he still has some puppy behaviors. One of these is jumping from the chair to the table. He also likes to chew things and they are not always appropriate.

Ghost has been neutered, micro chipped and is current on his vaccinations.

The tax deductible donation for Ghost is $400l
