I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Leary's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Leary's Story...
Leary is kind of shy but will not hide if her environment is a calm one. She gets along great with other cats. She is friendly when you pet her and hold her but she buries her head in your arms and looks for a "safer" place. She is being worked with at a foster home so she may become friendlier as time goes on.

Cats adopted through FUR will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, tested for Felv and many of them are microchipped prior to adoption. Typical Adult cat adoption donations are $75, cash or cards accepted, sorry no checks. Southern California residents only, we do not adopt to residents not within driving distance of our adoption centers. Please visit our website, www.felineundergroundrescue.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leary, a Winchester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winchester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Winchester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winchester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winchester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winchester paves the way for another one to be saved.
