Kaylee's Story...
Kaylee is such a pretty girl with lovely, unique markings and the softest fur you've ever pet! Our sweet, mellow gal enjoys snuggling with her people in a variety of ways. Kaylee enjoys being held and she enjoys sitting in laps. She likes being petted, especially when it includes head and ear rubs, chin scratches, and chest massages!

Kaylee can be credited with having the patience of a saint...while her 7 feline roommates were wailing like banshees complaining about their empty food dishes not being filled up fast enough, there sat Kaylee in a calm and dignified silence. She alone of the 8 cats believed it when I told everyone to keep their fur on because I would get to everyone at some point before the end of my shift. It was an impressive thing to witness!

Kaylee can get pretty silly when a wand toy comes out...gone are her dignified mannerisms, at least temporarily! She loves playing with wand toys especially if you make it weave in-and-out of a kitty condo...she'll partially jump inside the kitty condo tunnel to get the wand, leaving her backside hanging out and then she'll wrap both of her front legs around the kitty condo column in another capture attempt. She also gets a look on her face that can only be described as one of total concentration. Kaylee likes toy mice too, stomping on them with her hind leg thumping like a bunny rabbit!

Kaylee doesn't seem to mind the presence of other friendly felines. Kaylee is a sweet and loving gal who is hoping that her new family won't keep her waiting too long before they find her and make her their own! To learn more - www.azrescue.org.

Kaylee was adopted from the Humane Society a year ago and then returned when a family developed allergies. Watch a video of Kaylee!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaylee, a Phoenix Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
