Piper's Story...
I am a sweet, sweet girl. I LOOVE you -- I don't care if it is curling up on your lap or your shoulder, or helping you brush your teeth, I just want to be with you! I will "chat" with you and reach for you so you can be sure you are loved! Because I had an unfortunate spell in my life where I had to live outside, I'm still learning about so many things -- I'm enjoying the good food, but please be patient with me while I learn about the other things, people, and critters in your life, because I don't know much about them yet. I'm full grown so I'm probably always going to be small, but that just accentuates my "cute"! I will do okay by myself if you have to go to "work" -- you will find my toys batted all over! -- but if I can have it my way, it's you and me, babe. My edob is 10/11,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper, a Houston Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
