Lily's Story...
Lily is a female Puggle/Boxer (best guess) mix dog. She is approximately three years old. She was surrendered to a local vet after her owners could no longer care for her.

Lily is sweet. She loves attention from the humans at the shelter, and is a calm dog; however, Lilly would do best in a one dog family.

She has been spayed and is current on her immunizations. If you would like to make Lily a part of your family, please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.co

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Oakland Pug/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Boxer for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Pug/Boxer dog from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Boxer breeders who help with Pug/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
