Phoebe's Story...
Thank you for your interest in Phoebe. Phoebe has a severe front leg deformity which will be repaired and costs covered by CT Animal House. She needs a home with some quiet time to heal, so a dog without other dogs would be best. Phoebe is active and can be mouthy if not exercised properly. Older kids for this reason. She loves to spend time with her people. Smart and loving. No cats but good with most dogs her size. The rescue who is bringing Phoebe has the information on Phoebe's background. The rescue has asked Dog Days to pre-screen interested adopters for all of their dogs coming to our event.

A letter from your vet on their letterhead will also be very helpful if they won't be open for us to call as a reference. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is December 1st and 2nd at the PETCO in Clinton, CT (map below). Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Old Saybrook Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Old Saybrook, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Old Saybrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Old Saybrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Old Saybrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Old Saybrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
