Buster's Story...
hi, my name is Buster & I'm a 16 week old boxer mix. I was dumped at a shelter and when HART rescued me, I had parvo, which is deadly for dogs, but I'm a strong boy and beat it.
I'm an active, high energy guy and am looking for someone able to keep up with me, dog or human. I love to explore the back yard with my foster brothers and sisters and get along great with them. I will be a medium to larger size adult dog. I love to get belly rubs, give kisses and even think I'm a lap dog. There are foster children in my home as well and I play very nicely with them. I am working hard on crate & housetraining, but I'm still a baby so you'll need to be patient with me. My foster home does have cats, but they don't come around that much but when I do see them, I give them a little sniff. Even though I love my foster family, I can't wait to have a family of my own. Is that you?
Buster is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet him. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Cincinnati Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
