Benny's Story...
Hi everyone, Im Benny!

Im just over a year old, and Im a goofy and happy boy! Be sure to watch my video to see my great personality.

Ive been through formal training with at-risk kids (good for me AND good for them)! I graduated and now I know sit, down and stay. Tho I could use more practice on my stay, its a hard one for a young pup. I have the BEST propeller ears - theyre kinda big and they make people laugh.

I like to run and play, then Ill come sit at (or ON TOP OF) your feet for some pets and tummy rubs! Or, I may just lay down beside you and chew on my toy. Im a little bit of a jumping bean! I get excited, and then I bounce... But, Im learning not to be so bouncy .

Ive had doggie friends and do well with them, Im not sure how I feel about kitties. What I dont have, is a family... and that is what I want most of all. Will you be my family?

Im here... and Im trying to be patient, but its so hard. So, send a note to my friends at Lady's Hope Dog Rescue and lets see if we're a match!

Love Benny

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Seattle American Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet for sale in Seattle, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
