Toupe's Story...
Toupe is a 7 month old male Persian. He is a loving kitty once he gets to know you. He is playful, but quiet. He is very much bonded to his brother, Moose. It would be great if they could both have the same home. Persians require a great deal of care; they need daily eye cleaning, combing, and weekly baths or grooming (lion cut) to keep them from getting matted. Toupe is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines including rabies. He is good with other cats, dogs and older children. If you would like Toupe to be a part of your household, then please contact St. Martin’s Animal Rescue at stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com or 503-857-5047.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toupe, a Sheridan Persian kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a Persian kitten from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
