Rosie's Story...
Rosie-Corgie mix female, 8 mos

Rosie was recently rescued form a high kill shelter. She was so scared she couldn't even open her eyes for a photo. Now she is in a foster home and her whole bottom waggles when she wags her tail! She is house trained, crate trained, learning how to walk on a leash and sleeps with a human and a kitty or 2! Rosie has a ton of love to share, and is now ready for her own home.
Her adoption fee is $275 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Germantown Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Corgi/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
