FERN's Story...
~ ADOPTION PENDING ~ You may meet and apply to adopt Fern at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 2nd from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

~ ADOPTION PENDING ~ Fern is a female Havanese/Terrier puppy only 8 weeks old. She is a chubby, healthy puppy currently weighing a little over 3 lbs. She is a gorgeous tri-color of tan, white and chocolate brown. Her fur is wonderfully puffy and low to non-shedding. Fern is like a little cloud bouncing along with a curly tail. She has bisque colored fir tipped in a little darker beige. Her tummy and feet are lighter in color. She has a little upside-down handlebar mustache under chin that wraps around the back of her cheeks and under her eyes. Fern, like her siblings, loves to play and cuddle. She is an alert little girl and is aware of anyone who passes her play area. She usually waits for them to come in, and then is ready to play or hug. Fern is easy going and does just about any activity presented to her. She generally joins in on the fun and is a well adjusted pup. She gets along well with other dogs and children and is used to cats. Fern and her 5 siblings were brought in stray to a very overcrowded, high kill shelter when they were barely 4 weeks old. They had no mother and could not stay at the shelter. All six puppies have been raised in a clean, safe foster home since 4 weeks of age and are very healthy and well socialized. Fern is puppy pad/paper trained and well on her way to learning good potty habits. She is ready for her new forever home today!

Fern’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She will be SPAYED, and has been MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, and DEFLEAED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Fern is being fostered by Pet Match Foster Volunteers, Phyllis & Richard and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FERN, a Newport Beach Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Havanese/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
