Julian's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Julian's Story...
Julian is an athletic four year old brown and white male Pointer/Australian Shepherd mix who was found in East Los Angeles on October 29th and brought to the Downey Animal Care Center. Weighing sixty pounds, Julian walks okay on leash, knows how to “come” and “sit” on command but will benefit from formal training. He is sociable, gets along with dogs of all sizes and we believe he will do fine with older children. He even loves cats! Julian will make a terrific walking/running/hiking buddy and an excellent indoor pet for an active individual or family with older children living in a private home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Julian, a Anaheim Australian Shepherd/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Pointer for sale in Anaheim, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Pointer dog from a breeder in Anaheim.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anaheim already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anaheim breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Pointer breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anaheim paves the way for another one to be saved.
