Quinn's Story...
Quinn is a 1.5 year old husky male. He is an owner surrender due to his owner losing his job. He is 50 lbs. He is very sweet and gentle with all people he meets but needs to be in an only dog home as Quinn was not properly socialized as a puppy. He does well with dogs that he is slowly and appropriately introduced to, but is not the kind of pup who will ever be a doggy daycare or dog park dog. That being said, this gorgeous, sweet boy has so very much love to share.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quinn, a Richmond Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
