Liza's Story...
Liza is an enthusiastic, eager to please luv bug! She has had basic obedience and loves her crate. She plays well with male dogs, especially dominant ones. She was saved the night before death as a 7 week old puppy in a high-kill NC shelter. She was adopted quickly, but the family kept her crated for long weekends as they traveled frequently and neglected her needs. Eventually, she was returned. She has blossomed with love and attention and would make a great jogging partner! She is very strong and needs some leash work but has had basic obedience. She loves any toy or bone especially if it comes with human attention! For such a skinny girl, she LOVES to eat! Her large dark eyes will melt your heart.
Liza is currently being fostered in North Carolina and transport can easily be arranged to New England through Animal Rescue Front! . If you are interested in taking me into your forever home please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liza, a Groton Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Groton, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium)/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
