Bolt's Story...
Bolt arrived at New Moon Rabbit Rescue on 9 August 2012 as part of an owner surrender of 6 baby bunnies. They were born on 10 June 2012.

Bolt is still a little bit shy and will need some time to get used to his new family. He is very curious and likes to be pet but is not terribly fond of being picked up or carried. Bolt is young and full of energy and would much rather run and play.

Bolt was neutered on 7 December 2012 and is now available for adoption. We unfortunately do not know a lot about this little sweetheart at the moment but are looking forward to getting to know them a bit better. We will definitely have more info (and pictures) about them once their new foster home gets to know them.

We do try to keep our profiles as up to date as possible but sometimes this is not possible. If you are interested in knowing more about Bolt please email us at info@newmoonrabbitrescue.ca

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bolt, a North Gower Lionhead was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lionhead for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Lionhead from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lionhead breeders who help with Lionhead rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
