Bonsai's Story...

(Born February 2012, 4 lbs.) Bonsai is every bit as beautiful as the small tree after which she is named. Her snowy white fur is speckled with black patterning, and her big dark eyes and expressive ears complete this whole package. Bonsai came to us in early 2012 in a litter of five, and all are adorable, healthy and happy bunnies. We've heard that bonsai trees are lucky to have, but we think bunnies named Bonsai are even luckier! Bonsai is a beautiful little work of art and would bring a houseful of love and happiness to some lucky family.

About Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue

About Our Shelter...

Brambley Hedge Rabbit Rescue, Inc., has been caring for abused, abandoned and unwanted domestic rabbits since 1986. We are a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3), all-volunteer domestic rabbit rescue organization and no-kill shelter, housing more than 100 rabbits at any time. Over the past twenty-three years we have placed over 2500 rabbits with caring, adoptive parents. We work together with county agencies to check on abuse situations and act as expert witnesses for trials. We offer humane traps to the general public to capture stray rabbits. We only accept rabbits from other rescue agencies and work hand in hand with the Arizona Humane Society. We also partner with the Southern Arizona Rabbit Rescue (Tucson) and the local wild rabbit rescue (AZ Fish & Game licensed).

Adoptions are done through our adoption events, held several times a month at three locations in the Phoenix metro area. Potential adopters must meet in-person with our adoption counselors. We do not ship rabbits anywhere. All our rabbits are neutered or spayed. Adoption fees are $60 for a single rabbit and $110 for a bonded pair.
