Jackson's Story...
My name is Jackson and I'm an orange and white male kitty who is in foster care with a great family. My life before this wasn't the best, as I was on death row in a New York shelter along with my brothers and sister. We were scheduled to be euthanized shortly when we were suddenly rescued by a person who was taking some pitbulls off death row to be placed in foster care elsewhere. Someone she knew wanted to adopt my sister so she took all of us. It was truly our lucky day!!!

Since then, I was placed in foster care with a great family who has spent a lot of time with me getting me ready to be adopted into a loving family of my own. I'm a very busy kitty as I have places to go and things to do. I actually have real live cat TV as my foster family has a large bird cage filled with birds which I enjoy watching!! I never have to leave the house to have dinner and a live show. It's the best of both worlds!!

I am negative for FIV and FELV and have had age appropriate shots. I would love to move in with someone who has a friendly cat for me to pal around with and maybe even a cage full of birds which is really optional. I feel as though I deserve a second chance. If you agree, please send in an adoption application for me as you won't be sorry. My approximate birthday is in late Aug, 2012.

Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
