My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peanut is not a Tree House admitted cat, but is being fostered by one of our volunteers. Please contact Liz at 773 898 9899 or e-mail catwomanliz@yahoo.com if you would like more information about Peanut.

Here's what Liz has to say about Peanut:

"As a volunteer with the Tree House Humane Society, I rescued Peanut from a backyard in Logan Square along with 16 other kittens r and her brother Rocky in my home. They were born around June.

and am fostering hePeanut has been spayed. She has had all vaccinations and booster shots, has received deworming and flea treatments and is microchipped. She tested negative for FIV & FeLV. I can provide all records of vet services.

Peanut is very sweet, affectionate, gentle and playful. She rubs against me for attention and likes to be held. She also gets along well with my adult male cat. Peanut has the cutest fluffy tail, which is hard to see from the photos.

I would prefer to adopt Peanut together with Rocky because they are so close, but will also consider adopting her into a home with another animal. [If you are interested in just one cat and don't have any cats already, please contact Tree House at 773 784 5488. They have two shelter locations in Chicago's Uptown and Bucktown neighborhoods with many wonderful cats & kittens to choose from.]

I'm looking for that special someone who is patient, dedicated and financially stable enough to commit to and afford a cat for life. Asking $75 per cat or $150 total. Please understand that I ask for an application, check references and you'll need to sign an adoption contract as standard procedure.

Please call 773 898 9899 or e-mail catwomanliz@yahoo.com. No texts."
