Russo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Russo's Story...
I am a sweet little dude with lots of soul…check out these puppy dog eyes! They say I'm a Beagle mix and I can con cur…you're sure to find a few hound dog tendencies here… I do like to follow my nose, can occasionally be a little independent and most of all, I am sweet, sweet, sweet. Now don't panic- I am not the stubborn, howling, ultra independent type you sometimes see in my breed. I am more the calm and gentle, eager to please type. I do great with other dogs and will do well with respectful children. I am already crate trained and I have shown myself to be clean, quiet and cute as can be. Come on in and meet me, I guarantee I will be a pleasure to get to know. 4 years old-25lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Russo, a Portland Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Portland, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
