“Balboa!”.
“Hi Rocky…how’s it goin?”
“Oh, hey Balboa…Didn’t see ya there…It’s goin’ alright except for the fact that I’m 8 weeks old and I’ve already been ended up at this shelter…sure hope I find a home soon! How are you?”
“Ah, I been better…I gave up boxing…too many broken noses…my friend Mickey says it’s an improvement to my look, but I disagree…hey, ain’t we siblings?”
“Sure Rocky, we’re brothers and our momma Adrian is around here somewhere too…you must of taken too many punches in the ring to forget that.”
“Whatever Balboa…you try being a professional boxer AND an 8 week old puppy…it’s rough!”
“Well Rocky, hopefully somebody will read this silly bio and adopt us because they want to raise us and train us and love us forever and ever…”
“Ya, I sure hope so.”
“Hey, I’m sick of this conversation, let’s wrestle, eat, sleep, and go potty!.”
“Sure, sounds good to me!”

My adoption fee is $260 and includes; current shots, reduced cost spay/neuter and $25 rebate, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, reduced cost training class, leash/collar, toy & treat packet, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Balboa, a Portland Chihuahua/Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
