My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Fee: $325

Fostered in Louisiana

Age: 6 years

Weight: 5 lbs

12/4/12 - Cooper is now a Yorkie Haven pup since his mom and dad are thinking of adding a two legger to their family and they know how much Cooper dislikes children so they figured it would be safer for all involved if Cooper found a home that was better suited for his personality.

He is a sweet little guy who is devoted to his owner (usually is closer to the female in the home), but doesn’t attach himself to you so much that you cannot breath. He does do his own thing and doesn’t have to be constantly by you. Don’t confuse his lax attitude for non-love, because he does follow his current mom from room to room, but some of that is just because he is nosey and has to see what she is up to. Lol

Cooper isn’t a fan of sleeping in the big person bed, but if you just can’t sleep without a furry friend, maybe over time, he could adjust. He also isn’t one of those pups that wants to be smothered by kisses and hugs. He gets and gives his loves a little bit at a time.

Cooper has allergies that require medicine on a daily basis. He takes the generic form of Atopica which is called Cyclosporine. Since he isn’t a fan of pills, his mommy orders him the oral medicine and he takes it daily just fine. This usually runs $60 for 100 days and is definitely well worth it for Lil Cooper since this helps him not itch. Sometimes if the allergens in the air are too much, his sweet little eyes will start running and his mom will give him some eye ointment.

The perfect home for Cooper will be one with or without other pups. He has another pup in his current home that he is fine with, but they don’t “play”. He is fine co-existing and you never know, with the correct personality and match, Cooper could learn to engage in a game of tug-o-war with another furry pal. He will need a home where his mom and dad are more low-key. He has that typical yorkie ADD mode and seems to be more calm when the household isn’t chaotic. He feeds off the energy of his people, so the more chill the home, the more chill Cooper is. This means NO dren. He has already proven that he is NOT a fan of the little ones and he wants and will have a home without them.

He doesn’t really care for car rides, walks ok on a leash, is fine for the groomer and is a great pet.

Cooper wants everyone to know that he is going to be very picky when choosing his next home, so please revamp your resume and submit your application to be his people/person at your earliest convenience.
