Abby in IL

Abigail or Abby for short, needs to find a new home. Her owner is military and has a high operational job that takes her away from home a lot and she feels Abby needs to be with a family that will give her the attention she needs. She weighs about 55 lbs. Her teeth are not in the best of shape but she is still able to chew dog food (with a little water to soften). She gets along with people of all ages. She does well with other dogs but she will need to be supervised on the initial encounter, she likes to take the alpha position with dogs. She does well on lease, however when she sees another dog or furry animal, she will pull. She does not do well with cats. She will need to be supervised when outside even in a fenced yard because she is known to climb. She is kennel trained. Abby is a wonderful companion, she thinks she is a small dog that can sit on your lap. She is very intelligent and knows English and German commands.
Abby 4-5 year old female is spayed, vaccines, heartworm negative, free of internal and external parasites and microchipped. She is located in St Louis, IL but NADSR does adopt out Nationally
