Mona's Story...
Hi there! My name is Mona and I am a three year old, 18lb terrier mix girl who loves to play with toys and snuggle with my special person. I have energy and would love to go for long walks or chase balls. I like to chase kitty cats and I guess that scares them. I like most all other dogs but I am an assertive girl and I like dogs that are not as bossy as I am. I am cute and funny and when I play I make funny noises! I was found as a stray and taken to a high kill shelter. I didn’t like it there and I got rescued! After I got rescued, I got spayed, all my shots including rabies and I got a microchip. So, now I am all ready for my forever family and I am really excited for that! If you would like to make me a part of your family, then please email stmartinsanimalrescue@hotmail.com or call 503-857-5047 for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mona, a Sheridan Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
