SHAYNA's Story...
My name is SHAYNA which means “beautiful or adorable”. And I’m EXACTLY that! I’m a beautiful, adorable spayed female Jack Russell Terrier with lovely long legs. My coat is tan and white and smooth. You’ll love the fact that no grooming is required with this coat! Sadly my owner has recently died and now I’m looking for a new home. I’m completely housetrained and crate trained and I have wonderful manners. And I am oh so adorable! Most Jack Russells are wild and crazy and very active. Me? I’m just content to sit in your lap while we watch TV or read, or I can go for long or short walks with you, if you like. I have had only one home for my entire life, and now I need someone who will love and cherish me for the next 10 years! I am microchipped, all my shots are current, and I have been heartworm/ehrlichia/lyme disease tested, all results negative. I like kids who are respectful of animals, but no kids under the age of 6 years, please. I need a house with a fenced yard so that I can have some time in the great outdoors. I get along well with other dogs, but have never been around cats so I don’t know if I would like cats or not. I love, love, LOVE to ride in the car and I am very well behaved! My health is great, and I have all my medical records for my entire life. My teeth have just been cleaned and I have had a vet check. My adoption fee is $200. Go to the JRTCA Website www.terrier.com and research to see if this feisty little dog is the breed for you. They are NOT for everyone. Then go to www.jrtconnection.com and click RESCUE. All dogs are neutered/spayed, all shots are current, heartworm testing has been done, and the dog has been microchipped. The adoption fee is $300.
