Daphne's Story...
Daphne is a very special little soul that was rescued from an abandoned situation.She was staving,just skin and bones when we rescued her from a terrible life where she was eating plastic bags in a vain attempt to find food...She was weak and frightened when we rushed her to the Vet,but once she understood we would not harm her , she just surrendered and curled up in our arms...That was several months ago,since then she has been temporarily staying in a foster home that has nurtured her and and allowed her to blossom into a wonderful companion.Her beautiful emerald green eyes show that she is now a happy,healthy and loving girl that is ready for a loving family to show her that there are caring people in the world. Daphnes' best friend is Popeye,they sleep,play and eat together.They just love each other and would like to stay together if possible,if you have room in your heart for both! Popeye is loyal,loving and just a fabulous boy! Daphne is ready for her new life to start, are you her new family?

We are a 501 C-3 rescue. We help animals in crisis by doing courtesy listings, helping other rescues who are full, and taking in animals with immediate medical needs. This group is made up of seasoned rescuers. We focus on quality not quantity. We make sure each rescue gets the medical care they need and then find them loving families.
