Bits's Story...
My name is Bits. My rescuer named me this because I am such a little bit. I am 1 yr old I weigh 10.5 #'s. I am just a little shy but I am doing well, I have been neutered, up to date on my shots and Neg for heart worms as well as I am on heart worm preventative. I love my buddy Nibbles, he is just a baby so he shares with me. I need lots of love and patience because my previous owner dumped me and 4 of my buddies in the shelter for some unknown reason. I am warming up to my rescuer as she has shown me lots of love. Can you give me a forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bits, a Brattleboro Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pomeranian for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pomeranian breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
