My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

“My name is Dug. I have just met you, and I love you.” - Disney/Pixar’s Up

That is exactly what this dog would say if he could speak, so Bully Project named him after the adorable canine character from Disney/Pixar’s hit film. Rescued from Manhattan Animal Care & Control, Dug is the happiest of little fellows around. And all he wants to do is lick your face.

At only 35 lbs, this pocket pittie is the perfect size for apartment living, but that doesn’t mean he also wouldn’t be great in a larger home. He’s friendly with all people and dogs, and seems to be amenable to cats, too! He is happily crate trained, house broken and hasn’t made a peep since we met him. He is a little skittish when first going outside, but recovers quickly with the help of some delicious american cheese or sliced turkey breast.

Dug is already neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He’s definitely ready to move into a new home and live a happy life full of love, cuddles, licks and kisses. So, if you or anyone you know if looking for that perfect little pittie, please email us at bullyprojectnyc@gmail.com and apply to adopt Dug!
