My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tootsie is a sweet little black labby puppy who found herself in a high kill shelter when she was surrendered by her owners because they had too many dogs. What a shame! Actually, that was her lucky day because Lucky Lab Rescue heard about her and she became a Lucky Lab. Tootsie is about 5 months old now, weighing in at 30 lbs and is in a wonderful foster home being nourished and loved. She is a playful girl, but mellow for her age, needs very little correction, knows sit command for a cookie and very good at recall. She loves other dogs, cats and especially kids. Tootsie is very snuggly and sleeps close to her foster mom at night. She is pretty much house trained now and she is crate trained – goes in easily with ‘kennel time’ command and treat. Her foster mom thinks that she is a real sweetheart and such a good girl. Tootsie would make a great addition to any family.
Tootsie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro chipped. She is a great girl and if you would be interested in hearing more about Tootsie, please indicate her in the notes section of the online application. She is a very special girl.
