Ruff Ruff! My name is Joanne

Joanne's Story...
Joanne is an 8 year old shihtzu and was surrendered to a high kill shelter along with her “sister” Tana. Joanne is about 15lbs and has longer legs than most shihtzus so she may be a mix. She is a sweet dog that loves to snuggle and be a lap dog. She is affectionate and will give kisses to her person. She is well behaved but is a more dominant female. Joanne is good with other dogs that are more submissive than her and she is highly curious about cats and may chase them. If you have the type of cat that will stand his/her ground and give her a swipe on the nose, I am sure that Joanne will come to terms with that. It is unknown how she is with children, but she would probably do best in a home with no children or older children/teens. Joanne is spayed, fully vaccinated including rabies and is microchipped.
