Esme's Story...

Home needed soon - desperate situation!! Little Esme was found on the side of the highway. A week later she had a litter of five kittens. She was so thankful that she and her family were safe. Once babies grew up - foster mom could not keep her anymore. Found a wonderful home for her with a single lady and her two cats. Since Esme is half Siamese - she is a real Diva!! She does not get along with the other cats and scares them away for attention. She has been there for two months and the adopter has tried everything. She has to get Esme out of home. Right now Esme is stuck in a bathroom crying to get out. Very unhappy situation. Esme would be great for a single person or couple without any other animals. She is extremely loving and sweet to people. Please call 704-904-4111 or email me for more info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Esme, a Waxhaw Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Waxhaw, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Waxhaw.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waxhaw already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waxhaw breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waxhaw paves the way for another one to be saved.
