Stanley's Story...

Stanley is a big, gorgeous, medium haired, black kitty who is as sweet as the day is long. He was trapped and turned over to animal control and S.O.S. Feline Rescue saved him from certain death. Stanley is a lovable lap kitty who enjoys talking and being talked to. He wants to be where you are and will follow you around to be near you. Stanley loves for you to play with him and he is fairly polite around other kitties even though he can be somewhat of an attention hog. Please come meet Stanley and be the one who gives this big sweet boy the loving forever home he so deserves. Stanley is neutered, negative on combo test, and up to date on vaccines. Adoptions available to good homes in the South Charlotte and Waxhaw areas. Visit to submit an application agreement. S.O.S. Feline Rescue Inc. is a non-profit animal rescue organization that runs on donations only. All proceeds go to provide veterinary care, food, and litter for the animals we have rescued. We do not receive any revenue for adoption of a cat. If you do not want to adopt, please considering donating to SOS or sponsoring a cat on our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stanley, a Monroe Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Monroe, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Monroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
