Linus - Adoption Pending's Story...
Hi! My name is Linus and I’m a sweet, spunky boy according to my foster mom and pretty good learner, if I do say myself. I’m a 3-4 month old male cattle dog mix puppy and some folks say I might even be part rat terrier too.
I’m already crate trained and learned to use a doggy door in no time flat thanks to my big foster sister. I love to wrestle with her and follow her around. She’s showing me how to be a good little puppy. I absolutely LOVE to play with toys! I’ll even fetch a toy and bring it back to you so you can throw it for me again. I’m also OK playing with a toy on my own when you’re feeling a little tired.
I was left at the county pound with my three other siblings (Choo, Pilot and Piper). Thankfully, New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue came and got us out of there. Right now I’m still very young and will need someone to continue to work with me on my training. Of course, I’m a fast learner and eager to please.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linus - Adoption Pending, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
