Lucia's Story...
Hi! my name is Lucia and I am looking for a loving furever home. I was rescued from a very unsafe beach for dogs in Puerto Rico. I am about 1 year old, 20 lbs, spayed and fully vaccinated. My foster family in Brooklyn really loves me. I am very sweet, playful and happy. Good with other dogs and loves all humans. Lucia likes to play and loves to snuggle. If you would like to meet her please email meryl@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you!! Love and kisses, Lucia :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucia, a Madison Schnauzer (Standard)/Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Scottie, Scottish Terrier for sale in Madison, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Scottie, Scottish Terrier dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Scottie, Scottish Terrier breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Scottie, Scottish Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
