What's a Snickers without a Three Musketeers? Artemis, named for one of Alexandre Dumas' famous trio is better known as Artie around his foster home. And it looks like Artie is going to be in his foster home for quite a while yet. Artie has a nasty case of heartworms and ear issues that will probably result in ear ablation surgery. Artie is around 4 -5 years old and real sweet guy. The first order of business it to get rid of the heartworms and then decide what needs to be done with his ears. We'll post updates as his treatments progress
