Gracie's Story...
Initial Bio 11-25-2012: Gracie is an 8 year old, 5.5 pound Yorkie that came to UYR as an owner-surrender. Her owner passed away in September and Gracie has been living with his daughter and family. Unfortunately, the 2-year old son is extremely allergic to many things, and they decided they could not keep Gracie. She is an absolutely fabulous little girl, everything anyone could want in a Yorkie! She’s very sweet, loves to cuddle, loves to take walks, and has been a regular at the groomer’s. Apparently she was needing a new bow every week to keep up her fashion statements, so loves to be brushed and combed! Rosie has experienced separation anxiety since losing her owner, so she will need to be adopted into a home where someone is home a good portion of the time, gone for only short periods. She is used to going outside fairly often, and if taken out, is completely house-broken. If left too long, apparently, she will have an accident. This hasn't happened since she’s been with her foster mom, though. Gracie settled in quickly, and has even been accepted by her very picky foster brother! She’s a very easy, happy dog, and would love to find her forever home.
