PEBBLES's Story...
Here's a face EVERYONE can love. PEBBLES is a female Corgi mix who weighs 23 pounds. This baby of 8-9 months is a fun, playful puppy with energy to burn. She is eager to learn and play and runs full force. However, when that energy runs out, she is your typical puppy and will need that nap to regenerate!! This adorable tan and white bundle likes to give kisses and be petted. PEBBLES would make an excellent companion for all ages. PEBBLES is a puppy and, like all young dogs, will require patience, love and direction (TRAINING)! When she is finished with the 8-10 week CAMP CANINE PROGRAM, she will be an AKC Good Citizen who knows basic commands (sit, stay, down) and other skills she’ll need to interact politely with humans and other dogs. Come meet her and fall in love! PEBBLES is fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on all her vaccinations. PEBBLES is looking for her home for the holidays and beyond so please contact Lisanne at the Humane Society of Oldham County at 502-795-7151 or email to lisannehsoc@att.net to meet this wonderful girl!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PEBBLES, a LaGrange Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in LaGrange, or seeking a Corgi puppy from a breeder in LaGrange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in LaGrange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a LaGrange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in LaGrange paves the way for another one to be saved.
